Originating from the Blue Mountains of Oregon, near the home of Wild Carrot Herbals, the Grande Ronde River is partly designated as a wild and scenic river, supporting an abundance of wildlife, fish, tourism, and agriculture. Our Grande Ronde shampoo bar, inspired by the river's bountiful gifts to our region, is crafted with oils that richly nourish and fortify the hair. At its heart is organic, cold-pressed hibiscus seed oil. Traditionally, Polynesian women have adorned themselves with the hibiscus flower, a symbol of divine femininity; in our shampoo bar, its oil works to mend hair strands, prevent split ends and breakage, and smooth frizz and roughness. We enhance the hibiscus oil with our own blends of chamomile-infused, lavender-infused, and horsetail-infused oils, each contributing to hair strength, reconstruction, and scalp equilibrium. To encapsulate the essence of a serene, flowing river of hair, this shampoo bar is imbued with a soothing essential oil mixture of lavender and carrot seed oil.

Detox Period
During the initial seven washes, you might experience detox symptoms such as a heavy, wet, waxy, or greasy feeling in your hair. This is a normal reaction as your hair eliminates years of built-up chemicals like fillers, foaming agents, waxes, and silicones. These temporary effects are not a cause for concern; rather, they indicate that your hair is undergoing a transition and releasing the accumulated chemical buildup.
